Welcome
To The Quigley Corporation
The information
presented provides an introduction to the Company and its
subsidiaries. This site has been designed to provide a resource
for news and financial data as well as information on the
Company.
Mission
Our
mission is to develop and market natural health care pharmaceuticals
and nutriceuticals that offer pioneering new options to improve
patient treatment results. Our core objective is to address
the root cause of illness with the goal of exceeding the efficacy
and safety of current treatment options. This approach includes
the development of natural compounds and unique methods to
deliver those compounds in an effort to innovate medical science
and improve patient outcomes.
Consumer
Health
Our consumer health products, marketed through The Quigley
Corporation and certain subsidiaries, include the original
COLD-EEZE®. COLD-EEZE® contains the only safe and
effective natural formula that has been shown to significantly
reduce the duration of the common cold in repeated clinical
trials. It offers a significant advancement over the majority
of cough/cold products available over-the-counter, which do
not reduce the duration of the common cold. A recent retrospective
analysis also suggests that COLD-EEZE® is an effective
means of prevention. The study indicated that when taken daily,
COLD-EEZE® statistically lessens the number of colds an
individual suffers per year, reducing the median from 1.5
to zero. The scientific results of clinical testing have propelled
COLD-EEZE® to a top selling Cough Cold brand in record
time.
Ethical
Pharmaceuticals
The
mission and philosophy of The Quigley Corporation extends
to Quigley Pharma Inc., a wholly owned ethical pharmaceutical
subsidiary. Quigley Pharma combines the rigor of traditional
pharmaceutical research with an eye toward revolutionary technologies
and treatment approaches to effectively improve the health
and wellness of society.
The research
pipeline for Quigley Pharma includes several natural compounds
currently undergoing rigorous analysis for their application
with difficult-to-treat disease states. The goal is to confirm
the efficacy of these compounds according to the requirements
set forth by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration in order
to market them as ethical pharmaceuticals.
